The New England Steiners are pleased to host the 2011 SCI Convention in Providence, RI.  People will be arriving at the Westin Hotel in charming downtown Providence, Rhode Island on the 2nd with pre-convention activities on the 3rd and 4th. Convention activities start on the July 4 and the convention itself will be on the 5, 6 and 7^th. Attendees will be treated to a well-planned schedule of speakers, venues, and wonderful excursions throughout the ocean state.  Providence offers a variety of renowned restaurants and eateries while also boasting an active urban scene.  The geography allows for a wide range of activities from experiencing the downtown area to exploring Rhode Island’s beautiful coastline and beaches.  In 2011, the smallest state in the union will bring a dynamic and memorable convention for SCI members worldwide.
